Beautiful planters can do so much for your home, desk or just about anywhere. However, they can be hard to find if you don't know where to look. In this post, we share tips on where you can find planters to jazz up your plant game.
What got you into plants? For us, it was the different types of planters that we came across during our early days of exploring plants. However, it took us a good amount of research before we were able to track down different places that sold well designed and good quality planters.
Today, we save you the trouble of searching long and hard for that perfect planter—say goodbye to the days of struggling. Move over, traditional not-so-great-looking planter; things are about to get serious.
The Botanist and Her Thieves
We love TBTH for their beautiful, minimalistic planters. Started by four girlfriends from the creative industry, TBTH offers mainly small to medium size planters, which work well for desks, shelves and coffee tables. Most of their planters come with a drainage hole (which all of us know the importance of!) and their designs are easy on the eyes. From offices to homes, to cafes, we can imagine their planters everywhere and anywhere.

We first came to know about Potta Plantta through a friend's recommendation. Located in Bedok, they have a good variety of planters and plant stands ranging from simple, clean designs to the more eccentric, quirky ones. In addition to being incredibly helpful when it comes to any questions that you may have, Alex (the owner) is also very committed to ensuring that your plant continues to do well in your care. Reach out to him anytime you're facing issues with your plant (even months after buying it), and he will respond. Pssst, we hear that they are moving to a new space in Q4 2019. Exciting times ahead!

Ahhhh—our first love. Tumbleweed was what got us into plants in the beginning. Walking into Tumbleweed makes us feel like a five year old kid walking into a candy store. They boast of a wide variety of planters, and are also the exclusive retailer for a couple of brands, such as Capra Designs from Australia. Now with two locations, it's even easier to check them out! We strongly recommend going to the Joo Chiat store for their cute store manager, Jonathan. (FYI their store manager is a cat.)

Urban Outfitters Home
With their wide range and friendly prices, UO Home is one of our favourite places to shop for planters. They sell many exclusive designs that you can't find anywhere else. We love their hanging planter range (fairly uncommon in Singapore) and the fact that some of their planters include saucers (perfect for fuss-free watering!). From small planters, to animal planters, to footed planters, to hanging planters, to large planters, UO has it all. The only bummer? The planters sometimes arrive broken, so always check your planters thoroughly upon receiving.
We've found that you can find pretty neat planters for affordable prices on Carousell too. It depends on your luck and how much patience you have to continue scrolling for the planter of your dreams. Carousell is simple to use: all you need to do is type in "planter" or whatever your heart desires in the search bar, and wait for the magic to happen.
Where do you find your planters? Please share them with us—we are dying to know!
